GICO’s 2022 shines with achievements
New partnerships, important product innovations, new major names by which we have been chosen, increasingly strong, identity-related values disseminated through all our channels – this 2022 has once again brought GICO a lot of satisfaction.
Empowered by the celebrations for the goals achieved up to 2021, when the 50th anniversary of its foundation came up, GICO started this 2022 with the launch of the new H+ modular line. Functionality, optimised performance and all the best technologies for a kitchen designed in every single detail, with the first installation for chef Nicola Portinari‘s 2 Michelin star restaurant La Peca in Lonigo (VI).
GICO’s same values, strongly emphasised in its latest innovative proposals, took centre stage in the global showcase of EXPO Dubai: as a silver partner, present in the food outlets throughout the Italian Pavilion, with over 1.6 million physical visitors and 13 million virtual ones.
As evidence of the continuous investment in quality and safety, GICO obtained two new certifications during the year, SASO and UKCA.
Chefs Davide Puleio from Pulejo restaurant and Paolo Griffa from Caffè Nazionale in Aosta have also chosen GICO: both were awarded the coveted Michelin star by the 2023 edition Red Guide. Another chef awarded the star is Alfio Ghezzi, for his restaurant Senso at Mart in Rovereto, who asked for a tailor-made kitchen, perfectly in line with his needs as a bistro / fine dining restaurant.
And the partnerships are not limited to the world of chefs: with the Mestieri project, GICO has consolidated its entry into SOMEC Group‘s Food service department. A synergy between companies representing Italian craftsmanship excellence, a combination of ancient knowledge and contemporary technologies for a new design experience.
Achieving these milestones provides the company the perfect drive to keep going, and to do even better: big new projects are already being planned during the first months of the year… stay tuned!
