General Conditions

PRICES:
Prices exclude all services not expressly mentioned.

ORDERS:
Orders will not be accepted unless in writing. The order confirmation must always be returned signed for acceptance within two working days after receipt.

DELIVERIES:
The delivery dates indicated on our order confirmations are approximate and not binding. However, the delivery period begins on the date of receipt of our confirmation signed for acceptance.

PACKAGING:
In crates or cartons included. Special packaging will be charged at cost.

RETENTION OF TITLE:
Goods sold in countries other than Italy are subject to retention of title in favour of the seller. Ownership shall only pass to the buyer upon full payment of the price. Until that moment, from the time of delivery, the purchaser shall in any case assume all risks on the goods purchased and be responsible for their good preservation.

RETURNS:
The return of material is f.co factory (Vazzola) Italy. The goods travel at the consignee’s risk.

PAYMENTS:
Payment is in advance for:

• first deliveries;
• orders exceeding the credit limit granted;
• customers with outstanding debts;
• spare parts;
• supplies of less than EUR 100.00.
  Other modalities: to be agreed.
  For payments beyond 60 days, interest shall be charged at the legal interest rate in force at the time in Italy plus 6%.
  Bank fees, stamp fees and VAT will be included on the first due date.

NON-CATALOGUE EQUIPMENT:
Orders for equipment not included in the catalogue or price list must be accompanied by a detailed drawing, complete with dimensions and technical descriptions and a 20% deposit. Our right to confirm the order remains unaffected.

WEIGHT:
The weights given in our price list are approximate, net of packaging and inclusive of standard equipment.

WARRANTY:
The guarantee runs from the date of delivery of the goods as indicated on the transport documents and covers for 12 months all parts that are originally defective due to manufacturing defects, except for electrical components, knobs, movable or removable plastic parts, glass parts, external piping and any accessories. Lastly, the guarantee does not cover any parts that are damaged during transport, as a result of bad or incorrect installation, if the hydraulic or gas flow rate is insufficient upstream, as a result of faults in the electrical system, insufficient chimneys and drains, poor fuel quality, improper use of the appliance, tampering or in any case for causes not dependent on the manufacturer. During the warranty period, we undertake to replace those parts that are defective at origin and which must be returned to us free of charge at our Vazzola factory. Returns must be accompanied by a regular transport document on which the invoice number, model and serial number of the equipment to which the component refers must be indicated. Labour costs for replacement and any other incidental expenses are excluded from the guarantee. The guarantee only covers the replacement of the defective component free of charge and excludes any claim or demand for compensation.

For large-scale catering equipment supplied and installed, the 12-month guarantee runs from the date of testing, which must, however, be carried out within a maximum period of 18 months from the delivery of the last installed component, under penalty of forfeiture of the guarantee.

COMPLAINTS:
Any complaints must reach us in writing within eight days of receipt of the goods. Any returns must always be authorised in advance, in writing, by our management and must reach us ex works.

SPECIAL VOLTAGES:
Voltages and frequencies other than the standard version will be quoted on request.

VARIATIONS:
The data in the price lists and sales catalogues are indicative only and may be subject to change at any time without prior notice.

JURISDICTION AND COMPETENCE:
Any disputes will be settled by the Judicial Authority of Treviso – Italy.
