Host Milano 2021: Chef Carlo Cracco will be a guest at the GICO stand, for an interview focusing on “Made in Italy”
GICO is delighted to host Chef Carlo Cracco at its stand during Host Milano 2021. On the occasion of the international exhibition dedicated to the catering and hospitality sectors, the Michelin-starred chef will be interviewed by journalist and food and wine critic Marco Colognese.
Scheduled for Friday, 22 October at 4:00 p.m., it will be an opportunity to learn more about the background, career and philosophy of one of the biggest names in Italian cuisine, alongside GICO – a brand that values reliability and attention to detail, which are two of its greatest strengths.
Chef Cracco and GICO will be meeting up in order to build on the strong partnership that began in 2020, which has resulted in two important projects.
THE KITCHEN OF THE “ASSOCIAZIONE MAESTRO MARTINO” TEACHING RESTAURANT
The chef brings the professionalism of GICO kitchens to the Villa Terzaghi project, a teaching restaurant run by the association “Associazione Maestro Martino”, of which Carlo Cracco is president and founding member.
GICO equipment was chosen not only for its quality and technology, but also because it is a guarantee of safety and sustainability. All these elements are key to ensuring the best possible training for students from all over Italy.
A “CUSTOM-MADE” KITCHEN FOR CRACCO’S RESTAURANT OPENING IN PORTOFINO
For the opening of his new restaurant in Portofino, Carlo Cracco chose GICO’s kitchen technology as it stands out for its special attention to detail, exclusive high-performance solutions, and the ability to optimise work spaces and environments.
The kitchen of the Cracco Portofino restaurant is located on the first floor of a classic Art Nouveau building. These spaces required extensive customisation in order to preserve the premises while ensuring the highest possible efficiency levels.
Optimised consumption, a custom layout, customisation of the entire system, the efficient use of spaces, and great emphasis on design and workflow. In a nutshell, this was GICO’s contribution to Carlo Cracco’s kitchen in Portofino, which was jointly created by our company and the Michelin-starred chef by setting a common goal: to achieve the highest possible level of quality.
