In the Kitchen Tour 2020: let’s begin again, together!

We’re ready to start again, all together.
We are proud to announce our renewed collaboration with the association CHIC – Charming Italian Chef for the fourth consecutive year, and we are even more enthusiastic to be able to do it with the first official stop of the In the Kitchen Tour 2020.

The tour, like every year, will be composed of a series of BtoB meetings from the North to the South of Italy in breathtaking locations. At each stop, the chefs will meet in improvised jam sessions in GICO kitchens, creating dishes with ingredients made available by the participating companies, thus promoting the best products of a range of territories.

The first appointment is set for Monday July 13 in Cisternino, Puglia, at the Relais Masseria Villa Cenci. In this enchanting location, a historic Pugliese farmhouse, the first B2b meeting will take place during the day followed by a special 10 Hands Dinner that will see 5 CHIC Chefs as protagonists, an evening full of flavor that showcases local ingredients of the region.
The Chefs asked to interpret their culinary philosophies through our appliances in this first appointment are:

• Chef Domenico di Tondo ​of Le Lampare al Fortino in Trani (BT)

• Chef Donato Episcopo ​of Giangiacomo al Chiostro in Lecce (LE)

• Chef Francesco Laera ​of Fè Ristorante in Noci (BA)

• Chef Angelo Sabatelli​, of the eponymous restaurant in Putignano (BA) and the newly-elected president of CHIC ​

We are finally ready to start again, even more excited and passionate than ever!

GICO looks forward to seeing you at this special dinner that showcases Italian gastronomic heritage, with a full respect for the region and its traditions. There will also be a particular attention dedicated to sustainability.
