MIA, the tailor made kitchen

The latest MIA monobloc is destined for Kuwait, completely customizable, a kitchen that takes shape based on the client’s requests. MIA is the maximum declination of the marriage between functionality and design that has always been signature of GICO products: modular appliances, the fruit of over 45 years of experience, become special as they can be positioned within a unique steel work top. The underneath section can be completed with the addition of warm, cold, or neutral elements.
In the pursuit of ergonomics and security, this project has been developed to be able to contain two central, opposite ovens with respect to the work flow in a kitchen, dividing the island into a preparation and distribution space.
Guaranteeing maximum hygiene in an open kitchen is the other important requirement for a restauranteur dedicated to quality service: for this reason the oven area is separate from the other two spaces with two stainless steel walls, welded to the kitchen counter with rounded corners.

The kitchen area is composed of a smooth, 1/1 M fry top with underneath water circulation, a fryer of two 10 + 10 compact tubs, two 30 lt pasta cookers and 2 series of 4 Harry’s Firethe exclusive system that pairs the power of burners with the high performance of the water’s salubrity. The peninsula is completed with the water column, including electrical outlets and support for the mixer and  the sink. The superstructure is composed of sectioned off and removable grills. Under the work space we’ve put in technical compartments, hygiene compartments, and two static electric ovens. The preparation area is fitted with a refrigeration unit and two steel shelves.
